All O’Rourke Middle School students are invited to participate in Hot Picks, the Speck Library’s summer reading blog. Include the following in your review:

Title
Author
Genre, such as realistic fiction, fantasy, etc.
Summary in 3-5 sentences
Description of a memorable character or event
Meaning of the title
Evaluation of the book, for example, what was enjoyable about the book, what, if anything, was not good about the book
Recommendation: What grades or ages would you recommend this book for?
Rating: 1-5 stars with 5 the highest rating
